history

In the so-called beaver document from the year 810 it is attested that a Count Eckibert transferred the village "Piparodi" ( Unterstbibert ) with all accessories, including a mill, to the Regensburg Bishop Adalwin . According to Elisabeth Fechter, this probably means the lower mill, which would make it the oldest documented mill in the Ansbach district. The name “under mülen” has been attested since 1478. At the end of the 18th century it was also called "Görchsenmühle". The colloquial name "Schbōts ə míl" is derived from the owners, the Spatze brothers, who acquired the mill in more recent times (early 20th century?).

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Untere Mühle belonged to Unterbibert . The mill had the Brandenburg-Ansbach Vogtamt Unterstbibert as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Untere Mühle was given house number 34 in the village of Unternbibert. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the parish edict , the Untere Mühle was assigned to the Unterbibert tax district formed in 1808 . She also belonged to the rural community of Unternbibert, founded in 1811 . As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , this was incorporated into Rügland on January 1, 1977.
