Adalwin (Regensburg)
Adalwin († October 4, 816 ) was the fourth bishop of Regensburg from 791 to 816.
As Bishop of Regensburg, Adalwin was also head of the St. Emmeram Monastery . According to Alfred Wendehorst , Adalwin is believed to be the uncle of the Eichstätt bishop Altwin . The first documentary mention of St. Peter's Church, a predecessor of the Regensburg Cathedral, occurs in the time of Adalwin . Charlemagne made gifts to the bishop.
