The Pavlodar Airport ( Russian : Аэропорт Павлодар) ( IATA : PWQ , ICAO : UASP ) is an international airport, in the Pavlodar region lying Kazakh city of Pavlodar served.

Pavlodar Airport was established in 1949. A new terminal building was opened on September 11, 1972.

Until 1999 the airport belonged to a Kazakh airline. From 2000 to 2006 it was in the possession of the Pavlodar region. The current owner is Samruk-Kazyna Holding . In 2006 the airport was renovated.

Airlines flying to Pavlodar include Air Astana (to Almaty and Nur-Sultan (Astana until 2019) ) and Russian S7 Airlines (to Moscow-Domodedovo ).

At Pavlodar Airport, Ilyushin Il-76 and Tu-134 Tu-154 , Yak-42 , Antonov An-12 , Ilyushin Il-18 and lighter aircraft, as well as helicopters of all types, can take off and land.
