The airport Atyrau ( Kazakh Атырау халықаралық әуежайы , Russian Международный аэропорт Атырау ) ( IATA : GUW , ICAO : UATG ) is an international airport, in the area of Atyrau lying Kazakh city of Atyrau served. The airport is about seven kilometers from the city and has a runway .

The airlines Air Astana and SCAT fly to the airport from Kazakhstan . The destinations include national ones such as Nur-Sultan (Astana until 2019) , Almaty or Schymkent .
