Altwin (Eichstätt)
Altwin († 847 ?) Was Prince-Bishop of Eichstätt from 837 (?) To 847 (?).
Altwin came, like his predecessors, probably, from the Bavarian dynasty of Roninger . It is possible that he was a relative, for example the nephew of the Regensburg Bishop Adalwin .
Around 838/839 he allowed the deacon Gundram, administrator of the Solnhofen monastery, to open Sola's grave in order to transfer him to a more dignified place.
