The list is an alphabetical overview of Bavarian noble families. It contains information about name variants, origin, distribution and known personalities of the sexes. Where there is no coat of arms image, the image position from Johann Siebmacher's coat of arms book from 1605 is given according to the following scheme: page number of the coat of arms and position of the coat of arms on the plate (the page numbers of the reprints were not used).
