The Lords of Sachsenhausen were a knight and ministerial family who had their headquarters in what is now Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen , but were also wealthy beyond that.

meaning

It can be traced from the end of the 12th century to the middle of the 14th century. His property passed through an heir to the von Praunheim family , without any details being known. The Lords of Sachsenhausen provided some high officials in the city of Frankfurt am Main , for example Konrad von Sachsenhausen was mayor of the city from 1263 to 1268 and his brother Hartmann is mentioned in 1262 as the custodian of the Imperial Cathedral of St. Bartholomew in Frankfurt.
