Ken Soon
Kenneth Bald (born August 1, 1920 in New York City , New York - March 17, 2019 ) was an American comic artist .
life and work
After training at the Pratt Institute , Bald became a draftsman in the studio of Jack Binder, a brother of Otto Binder , where he worked on various superhero comics , sometimes under the pseudonym K. Bruce. In 1943, Bald was drafted into the Navy for three years . After his return he worked again as a draftsman in the field of superheroes. In 1957 he was hired by the King Features Syndicate to draw the daily strip Judd Saxon . The strip was written by Jerry Brondfield. In 1962, in collaboration with the comic author Elliot Caplin, a comic adaptation of Dr. Kildare . This series held up soon until his professional retirement in 1984.
