Nussdorf in Chiemgau

Nußdorf , also known as Nußdorf im Chiemgau , is the third smallest municipality in terms of area in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein . It lies between the communities of Chieming , Traunreut and Traunstein .

Nussdorf is located in the planning region of southeast Upper Bavaria in the Chiemgau .

In 2011, the three largest towns, Nussdorf, Sondermoning and Aiging, made up almost 75% of the total population. Population growth was around 0.6% per year in 2016. 50.6% of the population was male, 49.4% female. The proportion of foreigners was 3.3%, the birth rate is above the national average.

Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 1,815 to 2,456 by 641 inhabitants or 35.3%.

history

Until the church is planted

Nussdorf is mentioned for the first time in 798 in the Breves Notitiae . In the 12th and 13th centuries the place was the seat of an important noble family. Nussdorf later belonged to the Bavarian Rent Office Burghausen and the Traunstein Regional Court .

The Castle Neuamerang in the community town of Sondermoning was the seat of a Hofmark , which was acquired by Count Franz Guidobald Törring commercially to Pertenstein in 1694th The castle was used as a quarry in the middle of the 18th century. In 1818, the municipality of Nussdorf came into being with the municipal edict in Bavaria .

Administrative community

On January 1, 1980, Seebruck and Truchtlaching left the administrative community Chieming, which was enforced in the course of regional reform in Bavaria and founded on May 1, 1978 . The community with the remaining communities Chieming and Nussdorf was dissolved in 1986.

Incorporations

On January 3, 1870, the previously independent community of Sondermoning was incorporated.

Toni Wimmer (CSU) has been the first mayor since May 1, 2020. He was elected on March 29, 2020 in a runoff election with 55.4 percent. His predecessor was Johann Gnadl (CSU). In 2002 he succeeded Ludwig Kroiss (Independent Voting Group).

Since the election on March 15, 2020, the municipal council has been composed as follows:

  • Citizens' list (BL) : 4 seats (29.73%)
  • We Future Community (WZG): 4 seats (25.50%)
  • Independent group of voters (UWG): 2 seats (12.20%).

The turnout was 70.53%.

The Catholic parish of St. Laurentius-Nußdorf is a member of the Chieming Parish Association. The neighboring church is St. Nikolaus-Sondermoning.

72.8% of the residents are Roman Catholic, 18% Protestant and 9.1% other or non-denominational.

Economy and Infrastructure

Economy including agriculture and forestry

The most important business location is the Aiging industrial park , in which mainly medium-sized companies are located. Other smaller commercial operations are mostly located in Nussdorf and Sondermoning . Almost 52% of the community area is also used for agriculture and 33% for forestry, which is roughly the national average. Another source of income is gravel quarrying, which currently takes up almost 2% of the community area. An expansion to 4% is planned, which is well above the national average.

In 2010 there were 28 farms with an agricultural area of ​​831 ha, of which 465 ha were arable land.

According to official statistics, there were a total of 173 employees at the place of work in 2014 in the manufacturing sector, 201 in the trade, transport and hospitality sector and 21 in the corporate service provider sector. In other economic sectors, 86 people were employed at the place of work subject to social security contributions. There were a total of 908 employees at the place of residence subject to social insurance contributions. In the manufacturing sector there was one company with generally 20 or more employees, in the main construction sector at the end of June 2015 there was four companies.
