Obertrennbach is a district of the Gangkofen market in the Lower Bavarian district of Rottal-Inn . Until 1972 it formed an independent municipality.
location
The parish village of Obertrennbach is located in the Isar-Inn hill country about five kilometers north of Gangkofen on the Mühldorf – Pilsting railway line and the 2111 state road.
history
Obertrennbach is the ancestral seat of the aristocratic Trennbach family (also: Trenbach).
1808 was the tax district top separator Bach from the former eponymous chairman shaft and parts of the Office Kollbach from 1803 resolved District Court Dingolfing formed. In 1818/1823 the district court municipality Obertrennbach in the district court Eggenfelden was created . In 1964 it comprised 35 districts and belonged to the Eggenfelden district . On January 1, 1972, the municipality of Obertrennbach was dissolved in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria and incorporated into the Gangkofen market.
Attractions
- Parish Church of St. Vitus. The late Gothic building was built around 1500 to 1520. The appearance is shaped by the redesign of the last renovation in 1996.
