Panzing is a district of the Gangkofen market in the Lower Bavarian district of Rottal-Inn . The village formed an independent municipality until 1972.

location

Panzing is located in the valley of the Bina , directly south of Gangkofen, at an altitude of about 444  m above sea level. NN . It is naturally located in the Isar-Inn hill country .

history

Originally ortenburgische Ritter loans Panzing belonged to the rule Gangkofen. In 1560 and 1737 Panzing with Panzing Castle was referred to as the undecided Hofmarch . The two municipalities Panzing I and Panzing II appear under the municipalities of the regional court in 1818/23, one is the patrimonial municipality , the other includes the other properties of the tax district.

The Bavarian original cadastre shows the place in the 1810s under the name Banzing as a street village with 24 hearths on the right in the valley of the then still freely meandering Bina, as well as two mills that used their water power.

On February 26, 1820, Baron von Leoprechting ruled over Panzing. By order of February 3 and 11, 1852, these two communities were merged. Panzing was briefly incorporated into the Gangkofen community in 1946, but was outsourced again on January 1, 1948.

On January 1, 1972, Panzing was finally incorporated into Gangkofen.

Architectural monuments

Apart from the Köblergut day laborer's house from the end of the 18th century, nothing of the historical structure has been preserved.
