Konrad II of Raitenbuch

Konrad II von Raitenbuch (* before 1167; † June 11, 1185 ) was the 24th Bishop of Regensburg from 1167 to 1185.

Konrad II came from the Regensburg servant family of the Raitenbuchers . Conrad I , who had preceded him as Bishop of Regensburg from 1126 to 1132, was his uncle. Josef Staber names Count Siboto I of Neunburg and Falkenstein , the founder of the Weyarn Monastery , as his father .

In 1175 he found himself in the imperial army during the unsuccessful storming of the fortress Alessandria. He took part in the Third Lateran Council in 1179 . He is one of the supporters of Pope Alexander III.
