Aspert from Velden
Aspert von Velden († March 14, 893 ) was the eighth bishop of Regensburg from 891 to 893.
Aspert, named after the town of Velden , owed his appointment as Bishop of Regensburg to his position as Arch Chancellor of King Arnulf . Like the other first Regensburg bishops, he was also head of the St. Emmeram monastery . Only eight documents have survived from his brief period as bishop .
