Udalrich II. (Eichstätt)
Udalrich II († September 3, 1125 probably in Eichstätt ) was Prince-Bishop of Eichstätt from 1117 to 1125.
Life
Udalrich II came from a family that was related to the Bavarian noble family von Bogen . Father Friedrich I and brother Friedrich II were canons of Regensburg.
Udalrich II can only be verified as bishop from 1114, but his election probably took place immediately after the death of his predecessor Eberhard I von Hildrizhausen . In January 1114 he was a guest at the marriage of Henry V and Mathilde of England . It is also documented in terms of Reich politics at other meetings. He died of an " epidemic " illness.
