Kraft (colloquially: Greft ) is a district of the municipality of Rügland in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The Feldgraben rises near the hamlet , a right tributary of the Mögelheubach, which flows into the Zenn on the right . To the northeast are the Heiligenleiten and Neuhofer Holz corridors .

A community road leads in both directions to another community road. The community connecting road running 0.6 & km north of Kräft leads to Daubersbach (1.3 km southwest) or to another community connecting road (0.4 km northeast) between Stöckach (0.6 km north) and Oberfeldbrecht (1.4 km southeast) . The community connection road running 0.7 km to the southeast leads to State Road 2245 (0.2 km southwest) or to Oberfeldbrecht to State Road 2255 (1 km northeast).

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1297 as "Ascrefte". Based on this, the place name can be interpreted as a settlement near the Eschengraben . However, it remains unclear how the name of the place was changed to "Tagßkrefft" (1536) or "Tagskrafft" (1684). Since 1732 there is only the short form "Cräfft".

Towards the end of the 18th century there were five estates and a community shepherd's house. The high court and the village and community rulership exercised the Obervogteiamt Virnsberg . The landlords were the Obervogteiamt Virnsberg (3 estates, 1 empty building ) and the Brandenburg-Ansbach Vogtamt Jochsberg (1 courtyard).

As part of the parish edict, forces were assigned to the Buch tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Buch, founded in 1811 . On October 1, 1821, forces with Daubersbach and Fladengreuth were reassigned to Unternbibert . On January 1, 1977, the community of Unternbibert was incorporated into Rügland as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
