Count Rapoto von Abenberg (* 1122 , † 1172 ) was Bamberg bailiff from the family of Abenberg .

He was married to Mathilde, daughter of Dedo IV von Wettin and Bertha von Groitzsch or von Morungen, who brought him important goods such as Leisnig and Colditz in 1143 after the death of her brother Heinrich . After 1147 Rapoto sold these goods to Duke Friedrich III. von Swabia, the later Emperor Friedrich I (Barbarossa) , who converted it into an imperial estate in 1158 .

In 1132 Rapoto and Bishop Otto von Bamberg founded the Heilsbronn Monastery ; it belonged to the catchment area of ​​the diocese of Bamberg .

His daughter Hildegard married Konrad II von Raabs , from which connection Sophia von Raabs arose.
