Oberdachsbach is a district of the municipality of Dietersheim in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .

The wasteland lies on the Ludergraben, a right tributary of the Schweinbachgraben, which in turn is a left tributary of the Schweinachbach. Approx. The Rennersberg ( 340  m above sea level ) rises 0.5 km southwest of the village in the Hohenecker Forest , about half a kilometer north is the Grauenhoffeld , and about 0.75 kilometers southeast of the Klosterwald . A residential road leads to the district road NEA 26 (1.2 km west), which runs to Walddachsbach (0.4 km north) or to the district road NEA 35 (1.2 km south).

history

Towards the end of the 18th century, Oberdachsbach belonged to Walddachsbach . There was a property in Oberdachsbach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Vogtamt Lenkersheim . The property was formerly a parish loan from Diespeck and was now a free property.

As part of the community edict, Oberdachsbach was assigned to the Altheim tax district formed in 1811 . In 1817 the rural community Altheim was formed, to which Oberdachsbach also belonged. With the second community edict (1818) it was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Walddachsbach. On July 1, 1972, Oberdachsbach was incorporated into Dietersheim as part of the regional reform .
