The Weiherhaus Oberdachsbach , also called Schloss Oberdachsbach , is a pond house , the Schlösschen in Oberdachsbach . (House No. 1) Today's part of the community Dietersheim is 3.5 km southeast at an altitude of 357 m above sea level. NN at the Ludergraben feeding the ponds in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Bavaria .
From 1588 Oberwalddachsbach was owned by the Lords of Abenberg, whose manor house was already known as the Schlösschen . In 1667 this solitary farm was no longer inhabited, whereupon the Margrave Christian Ernst of Brandenburg-Bayreuth gave his castner from Neustadt the order to rebuild the farm. Oberwalddachsbach then changed hands frequently. The two ponds that gave it its name, with a total area of around 1000 m², were laid out in the 18th century and are not yet visible in the Bavarian original cadastre from 1808.
The current owners have extensively renovated the two-storey pond house, a half-timbered building with a hipped roof , and the associated outbuildings. It is under monument protection with no .: (D-5-75-119-26) .
