The Postal Adelsdorf is an Outbound High Middle Höhenburg the type of a Turmhügelburg (moth) at 370  m above sea level. NHN on the "Mauserbuck" near Adelsdorf , a current district of the market town of Neuhof an der Zenn in the Middle Franconian district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Bavaria .

history

The castle was built around 1120 by the lords of Adelsdorf, ancestors of the Schlüsselberg family , who then founded the town of Adelsdorf an der Aisch , which they later sold with the tower hill castle to the Heilsbronn monastery . The castle was destroyed in the Hussite War in 1430 and in the Peasants' War in 1525 . Around 1666 their remains were leveled.
