The castle ruin Schauerberg , also called Altschauerberg or Eppala , is the ruin of a hilltop castle at 370 m above sea level. NHN in a beech forest above Altschauerberg , a current part of the market town of Emskirchen in the Middle Franconian district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Bavaria .
history
The castle was the 14th-century castle Office Castle counts of Nuremberg built and the oldest Urbar first performed the Burggrafentums Nuremberg of 1361 as "Ze Schaurberg under the Pürg".
