Danielius Nomanovas (born October 20, 1995 ) is a Lithuanian ice hockey player who has been playing at JLSS Zemgale in the Latvian ice hockey league since October 2015 .

Career

Clubs

Danielius Nomanovas began his career as a hockey player with Vanvita Vilnius , for whom he made his debut in the Lithuanian ice hockey league at the age of 16 . In 2013 he moved to Baltica Vilnius in the Russian-influenced youth division Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga B , but also played for SC Energija Elektrėnai in the Belarusian Wysschaja Liga , the country's second-highest division. In 2014/15 he was on the ice at Žalgiris Vilnius in the Molodjoschnaja Liga B. He then returned to Energija in the Wysschaja League, but already moved to JLSS Zemgale in the Latvian ice hockey league in October 2015 .

International

For Lithuania, Nomanovas took part in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in 2012 and 2013 and the U20 World Championships in 2013 , 2014 and 2015 , when he was voted the best player on his team, in Division II.

With the Lithuanian men's national team , Nomanovas played for the first time at the 2015 World Cup in Division I, where he also played in 2016 . He also represented his colors in qualifying for the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
