List of Barbarastrasse

Barbara streets are often named after the patron saint Barbara of Nicomedia . They can often be found in mining regions, as Barbara von Nicomedia is, among other things, the patron saint of miners. Sometimes there are also St. Barbara streets, or St. Barbara streets or Barbara paths.

In the case of Munich's Barbarastrasse , Saint Barbara is venerated as the patron saint of artillery.

But the chanson singer and composer Barbara and the industrialist daughter Barbara Krupp were also honored with the naming of a street.
