The Postal Erkenbrechtshofen is an Outbound medieval motte (Motte) east of the former property no. 8 in Erkenbrechtshofen , a modern suburb of Bad Windsheim in the administrative district Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Bavaria .

The castle was owned by Hans von Seckendorff until 1400, here already referred to as Burgstall , who sold his goods in Erkenbrechtshofen and the Burgstall to Windsheim in the same year.

Nothing has been preserved from the well-fortified moth enclosure, which is surrounded by a moat , and the tower hill has been leveled.
