history

The place name contains the family name Bühl. The court was probably founded by Justin Friedrich Bül. The place was first mentioned by name in 1714.

At the end of the 18th century, Bühlberg consisted of only one house. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Vogtamt Lenkersheim . The estate was owned by the Ipsheim caste office as the landlord .

As part of the community edict, Bühlberg was assigned to the Ipsheim tax district, which was formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the Ipsheim rural community formed in 1817 . With the second municipal edict (1818) it was re- municipalityed to Eichelberg . On July 1, 1972, this was incorporated into the Ipsheim market as part of the regional reform .
