Eichmühle is a former district of the market Ipsheim in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia . In the meantime it has risen in Schulstrasse in the Ipsheim district.

geography

The former wasteland lies on the Aisch . It consists of a residential building and a dozen outbuildings. The Wennerboden corridor area borders in the south . Approx. The Hasenbuck ( 329  m above sea level ) rises 0.75 km to the west . A residential path (Schulstrasse) leads to federal highway 470 (0.7 km east).

history

At the end of the 18th century the Eichmühle belonged to Ipsheim. The mill had the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Ipsheim as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the Eichmühle was given house number 13 in the town of Ipsheim.

As part of the municipal edict, Eichmühle was assigned to the Ipsheim tax district, which was formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the Ipsheim rural community formed in 1817 .

The mill has been used to operate a sawmill for over 100 years. On the night of April 6th and 7th, 1909, the mill and the house burned down. It was rebuilt in the same year.
