Hörhof is a district of the Obernzenn market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

Immediately south of the wasteland , the Augraben flows as a left tributary into the Kemmathbach, which is a right tributary of the Zenn . The Wolfsklinge forest is around 0.5 km southeast of the village . The district road AN 21 / NEA 38 leads to Sondernohe (1.2 km south) or past the Binsmühle to Unteraltenbernheim to state road 2413 (1.5 km northeast).

history

At the end of the 18th century, Hörhof belonged to the Limbach municipality . There was a property in Hörhof. The high court exercised the Obervogteiamt Virnsberg . The estate was owned by the German Order Coming Virnsberg as landlord .

As part of the municipal edict, Hörhof was assigned to the Sondernohe tax district formed in 1808 . He also belonged to the rural community of Sondernohe formed in 1811 . With the second community edict (1818) he was re- grouped into the newly formed rural community Unteraltenbernheim . On May 1, 1978 Hörhof was incorporated into Obernzenn as part of the regional reform .

The place has remained predominantly Catholic even after the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Martin (Unteraltenbernheim) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish after the Assumption of Mary (Sondernohe) .
