Sichelbronn is a district of the Obernzenn market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The Brachbach, a right tributary of the Zenn, rises in the wasteland . The place is surrounded in the south by the seal tendril that rises in the Kaabholz . In the northeast is the cabbage wood . A local road leads to Egenhausen to state road 2253 (0.5 km northwest).
history
At the end of the 18th century there is evidence of a Siegelbronn farm that was located at the Egenhausen paper mill. A small settlement was established there in 1825. It was originally called "Papierstampf", since 1875 "Sichelbronn". The place belonged to the rural community Egenhausen formed in 1818 . The patrimonial court Obernzenn - Seckendorff-Gutend held voluntary jurisdiction over three properties until 1848 . On July 1, 1975, Egenhausen was incorporated into Obernzenn as part of the regional reform .
