Oberntief is a district of the city of Bad Windsheim in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia.
Geographical location
The Lochbach flows through the church village and joins the Schmalenbach (right) to form the Tief , a left tributary of the Aisch . In the south, there is a nature reserve in Graefholz . In the south, west and north the place is surrounded by elevations: the Dachsberg , the Seeberg ( 360 m above sea level ) and other, nameless elevations. Approx. 0.75 km to the northeast is the Gerleinssee corridor area and about 0.75 km to the southeast is the shepherd's room . The district road NEA 40 leads to Untertief (2.5 km east) or Bad Windsheim (4 km south-east).
history
Oberntief was probably founded during the second settlement wave of the Franconian conquest . The place was first mentioned by name in a document from the year 1226. At that time there was already the local knight family of Tief. The following families Schoder and Hohenberg sold the castle, including the forest and fields, to the Windsheimer Spital. In 1447 the imperial city of Windsheim acquired the entire place. The Reformation took place in the deanery district in 1525.
At the end of the 18th century there were 34 properties in Oberntief. The imperial city of Windsheim exercised the high court . If necessary, it had to be delivered to the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Vogtamt Lenkersheim . The imperial city of Windsheim held the village and community rulership. The landlords were the imperial town of Windsheim (24 properties), the Schwarzenberg office of Wässerndorf (5 properties), the monastery office of Birkenfeld (1 estate, 2 estate), the Vogtamt Jochsberg-Flachslanden (1 Häckersgütlein) and the Kitzingen Ratsstipendienstiftung (1 farm).
In 1810 Oberntief came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, it was assigned to the Külsheim tax district in 1811 . In 1817 the rural community Külsheim was formed, to which Oberntief belonged. With the second community edict (1818) Oberntief broke up with Untertief and formed its own rural community. The administration and jurisdiction of the rural community Oberntief was subordinate to the District Court of Windsheim and the financial administration to the Ipsheim Rent Office . However, until 1848 the Hohenlandsberg rulership of the Schwarzenbergs held the voluntary jurisdiction over six properties . From 1862 Oberntief was administered by the Uffenheim District Office (renamed the Uffenheim District in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Windsheim Rent Office ( renamed Windsheim Tax Office in 1920 ). The jurisdiction remained with the District Court of Windsheim until 1879, from 1880 District Court of Windsheim . The municipality had an area of 8.807 km².
On January 1, 1972, Oberntief was incorporated into Bad Windsheim as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
