The district court of Uffenheim existed from 1879 to 1973 as a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction with its seat in the city of Uffenheim .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was set up in Uffenheim, the district of which was congruent with that of the previous regional court district of Uffenheim . It therefore included the municipalities Adelshofen , Auernhofen , Bergtheim , brackish Lohr , Buchheim , Custenlohr , Equarhofen , Ergersheim , Ermetzhofen , Geckenheim , Geißlingen , Gollachostheim , Gollhofen , Gülchsheim , Hemmersheim , Herbolzheim , Hohlach , Ippesheim , Langensteinach , Lipprichhausen , Mörlbach , Neuherberg , Oberickelsheim , Pfaffenhofen , Pfahlenheim , Reusch , Rodheim , Rudolzhofen , Seenheim , Simmershofen , Uffenheim, Ulsenheim , Unterickelsheim , Uttenhofen , Walkershofen , Wallmersbach , Weigenheim , Welbhausen and Wiebelsheim . The higher-level instances were the Ansbach Regional Court and the Nuremberg Higher Regional Court .

With the abolition of the Marktbreit district court on July 1, 1932, the Uffenheim judicial district expanded to include the communities of Bullenheim and Gnötzheim .

With the entry into force of the law on the organization of ordinary courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) on July 1, 1973, the district court of Uffenheim was repealed and its district was divided as follows:

District Court building

The building of the former District Court is located in the noble Straße 14. The 1905 built two-storey Mansarddachbau with central buttress and dormer is not least due to its rich neo-baroque plaster and sandstone division, a listed building.
