The Herrieden District Court was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1931 and was based in the city of Herrieden .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court in Herrieden was formed, the district of which was identical to the previous district of Herrieden and consequently the villages of Arberg , Aurach , Bechhofen , Burgoberbach , Claffheim , Gern , Großbreitenbronn , Großenried , Herrieden, Heuberg , Hohenberg , Kaudorf , Kemmathen , Lammelbach , Leidendorf , Liebersdorf , Mörlach , Mörsach , Neunstetten , Neuses , Niederoberbach , Ornbau , Rauenzell , Roth , Sachsbach , Sommersdorf , Stadel , Thann , Waizendorf , Weidenbach and Wiesethbruck . The superordinate instance was the regional court of Ansbach in the higher regional court district of Nuremberg .

With effect from March 1, 1931, the Herrieden district court was repealed and from its district the communities Arberg, Gern, Kemnathen and Mörsach were assigned to the Gunzenhausen district court , while the other communities were assigned to the Ansbach district court.

The district court was located in a two-storey hipped roof building at Herrnhof 10. The building, which has served as the town hall of Herrieden since 1944, was built in 1901 in neo-baroque style and has a central risalit with a gable top.
