history

In 1808, in the course of the administrative reorganization of Bavaria, a regional court (older order) was established in Gunzenhausen. With effect from January 1, 1970, the district of the former Wassertrüdingen District Court was separated from the Gunzenhausen District Court and added to the Dinkelsbühl District Court . The Gunzenhausen District Court existed until 1973. The district of the dissolved Gunzenhausen District Court was given to the Weißenburg i. Bay. assigned.
