Niederoberbach is a district of the municipality of Burgoberbach in the district of Ansbach ( Middle Franconia ).

geography

The Hesselbach, a left tributary of the Altmühl , flows through the village and the Schafhofgraben flows there as a left tributary into the Hesselbach. In the west lies the Ratzengarten forest, in the southeast the Herrenholz and approx. 0.75 km in the east the Stöckicht. In the south is the Kappelfeld corridor, approx. 0.5 km southwest of the Brünstlein.

The state road 2221 leading to the summer village (1 km south) or to Gerersdorf over after Burgoberbach (2.7 km to the north). Communal roads lead to Gerersdorf (0.7 km north), Weiherschneidbach (2.2 km northeast), Reisach (0.5 km east) and Winkel (2 km west).

history

The place was in the Fraisch district of the Oberamt Ansbach . At the end of the 18th century there were 24 subject families in Niederoberbach. The lords of Crailsheim held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties . From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

In 1806 Niederoberbach came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, Niederoberbach was assigned to the Sommersdorf tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Sommersdorf , which was founded a little later . With the second community edict (1818) Niederoberbach became a rural community to which Reisach belonged. It was subordinate to the Herrieden regional court in terms of administration and jurisdiction and to the Herrieden rent office in terms of financial administration ( renamed Herrieden tax office in 1920 , from 1950: Ansbach tax office ). From 1862 Niederoberbach was administered by the Feuchtwangen district office (from 1938: Feuchtwangen district ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 the District Court Herrieden, since 1880 district court Herrieden , 1950 District Court Ansbach . The municipality had an area of ​​3,309 km².

On January 1, 1972, the municipality was incorporated into Burgoberbach as part of the regional reform .
