history

The place was formerly called "Brunnen – Raysach" and "Raisachhof". In 1403 the Heilsbronn Monastery acquired an estate from Conrad Eberhard von Friedrichstall .

Reisach was in the Fraisch district of the Oberamt Ansbach . Towards the end of the 18th century there were three subject families in the village, all of whom had the lords of Crailsheim as landlords . From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Reisach was assigned to the Sommersdorf tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Sommersdorf , which was founded a little later . With the second community edict (1818) Reisach was re-ceded to the newly formed rural community Niederoberbach . On January 1, 1972, the place was incorporated into Burgoberbach as part of the regional reform .
