history

1312 acquired the monastery Heilsbronn of Agnes of continuous possession in "piston Schneidbach" (original place name). In 1398 it was exchanged for an estate from Hans von Leonrod , who was given an estate in Dietenhofen in return.

In 1422 Michel Metsieder confirmed his parents' foundation, the mill and a farm in Kolmschneidbach to the alms of the city of Ansbach. In 1445 the Heilsbronn Monastery gave an estate in Kolmschneidbach to Michael Veldbrecht in exchange for an estate in Kaudorf . In the 16-point report of the Heilsbronnian Vogtamt Merkendorf from the year 1616 1 farm and 1 estate are given for Kolmschneidbach, which were subordinate to the Merkendorf administration office. The properties of other landlords are not listed.

According to the 16-point report of the Oberamt Ansbach from 1684, Kolmschneidbach was subordinate to the caste office Ansbach with regard to the high and lower jurisdiction , while the municipal authority and the shepherd's staff lay with the Ansbach administration office Merkendorf . Seven "teams" (= subject families), including a farm, were subordinate to the Ansbach caste office, but also had to pay dues to the Ansbach monastery office ; one team belonged to the collegiate office, two subjects each belonged to the Heilsbronn office of Merkendorf and the mayor and council of Ansbach (including the mill), one subject to the Eichstättischen Stadtvogteiamt Herrieden . There were also seven subject families towards the end of the 18th century. The manorial conditions were unchanged. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Kolmschneidbach was assigned to the Weidenbach tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Weidenbach , which was founded a little later . With the second community edict (1818) Kolmschneidbach was re-grouped into the newly formed rural community of Leidendorf . On July 1, 1971, it was incorporated into the Weidenbach market as part of the regional reform .
