Equarhofen is a district of the municipality of Simmershofen in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Central Franconia .
The place is located southwest of the core town Simmershofen on the NEA 49 and NEA 47. The Steinach flows through the place . In the village - coming from the south - the Höllbach and - coming from the northeast - the Wallmersbach flow into the Steinach. The state border with Baden-Württemberg runs not far to the west .
