Hohenlandsberg Regional Court

The Hohenlandsberg rulership court was a rulership court of the princes of Schwarzenberg zu Hohenlandsberg . It existed from 1814 to 1848 as an administrative unit of the Rezatkreis . In 1848 it was converted into a judicial and police authority, which expired in 1850.

The rulership court bordered on the regional courts of Markt Bibart , Neustadt , Uffenheim and the rulership courts of Burghaslach and Markt Einersheim .

The ruling court was divided into 9 tax districts, which were administered by the Iphofen and Uffenheim Rent Office:

  • Bullenheim with Obermühle and Untermühle
  • Dornheim with Fischhof and Hohlbrunnermühle
  • Gnötzheim with Fetzersmühle and Schloßmühle
  • Herbolzheim with Wüstphül
  • Herrnsheim with Schwarzenmühle
  • Huettenheim
  • Iffigheim with an oven mill, Beigels mill, village mill, nail mill and grinding mill
  • Krassolzheim
  • Krautostheim with village mill and Model Mill
  • Nenzenheim with Herrgottsmühle
  • Nordheim with Kottenheim, Seehaus and Wüstphül
  • Seinsheim with town mill (= Seinsheimer mill?)
  • Wässerndorf with Barthsmühle, Gehrenmühle, hammer mill, lung mill, paper mill, Winkelhof and Winkelhofmühle
  • Weigenheim

In 1818 there were 5913 residents in the Hohenlandsberg lordship court, who were divided into 1,444 families and lived in 1,289 properties.

The Herbolzheim community was transferred to the Markt Bibart district court , the Nenzenheim community to the Uffenheim district court .

In 1840 the Hohenlandsberg Court was 2 square miles in size. There were 5353 inhabitants, of whom 2631 were Catholics, 2475 Protestants and 247 Jews. There were 34 localities: 3 markets, 6 parish villages , 3 church villages , 1 village and 21 desert areas .
