The 16 kilometer long faith trail leads through Großharbach, on which Christian symbol stones made of Franconian shell limestone are set up.

history

In 1387 Großharbach was divided: The area south of the Harbach was in the Fraisch district of the imperial city of Rothenburg , the northern part in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Uffenheim . At that time there was already a chapel with the patronage of the Archangel Michael . In the Thirty Years' War , the chapel fell into disrepair. In 1691 a church was built in its place.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 26 subject families, 21 of which had the imperial city of Rothenburg as their landlord . There were 22 properties in the Fraisch district of the Oberamt Uffenheim. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the Justice and Chamber Office Uffenheim .

In 1806 Großharbach came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . With the community edict (early 19th century) Großharbach was assigned to the tax district Adelshofen. A little later the rural community of Großharbach was formed. In terms of administration and jurisdiction, it was subordinate to the Rothenburg Regional Court . The municipality had an area of 5,399 km². In the course of the territorial reform , this was incorporated into Adelshofen on July 1, 1972.
