The former land tower in Großharbach , a district of the municipality of Adelshofen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia ( Bavaria ), was built in the 15th century. The half-timbered house at Großharbach 16 is a protected architectural monument .

description

Today's tower house, formerly a land tower on the border of the Rothenburg Landwehr , is a three-storey half- hipped roof building over a solid ground floor with interlocking corner blocks. The half-timbering was added in the 17th century and the building was extended to the west.

The coat of arms on the entrance side has the following inscription: "1607 Johann Kaspar Schmidt Anno 1834".
