geography

The wasteland lies on the Tauber and has its own house number. It forms a closed settlement with Tauberscheckenbach in the northwest.

history

Karrenmühle was in the Fraisch district of the imperial city of Rothenburg . This was also the landlord of the property. Towards the end of the 18th century it was described as an undershot mill that had three grinding aisles and one tanning process and at the same time operated a cutting unit . It was alternatively referred to as "Obermühle". Originally the Karrenmühle had house no. 22 of the town of Tauberscheckenbach. With the community edict (early 19th century) Karrenmühle was assigned to the tax district Bettwar and the rural community Tauberscheckenbach. On July 1, 1972, Karrenmühle was incorporated into Adelshofen with Tauberscheckenbach as part of the regional reform .
