Ruckertshofen is a part of the municipality of Adelshofen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet is located on a left tributary of the Gickelhäuser Bach, which is a right tributary of the Tauber . The district road AN 8 leads to Gickelhausen (1.3 km north) or to Adelshofen to state road 2416 (0.8 km south).

history

In 1801 there were 12 households in Ruckertshofen, all of which were subject to the imperial city of Rothenburg . With the community edict (early 19th century) the place was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Adelshofen.
