history

The moat system of the Rothenburger Landhege, which was built in the 15th century, runs directly along the Seemühle .

In the 19th century, the Seebach fed an approximately 26,500 m² mill pond southwest of the Seemühle. After the mill operation was closed, it was silted up or filled in and greened. The ponds, which were later built north of the mill and total around 3,800 m², serve as a sewage treatment plant.

With the community edict (early 19th century) Seemühle was assigned to the tax district Steinach and the rural community Habelsee . In the course of the territorial reform , Seemühle was incorporated into Ohrbach on May 1, 1978.
