Nitrogen selective flame ionization detector
The nitrogen-selective flame ionization detector - N-FID for short - is a detector for nitrogenous organic compounds (= hydrocarbons ), which is mainly used in connection with gas chromatographs (GC).
The structure is similar to the common FID (flame ionization detector), which is widely used in gas chromatography.
