NER (Mesopotamia)
NER is the original Sumerian name for a length measure and the number 600. The length measure NER is first used around 2400 BC. Occupied. A “NER” corresponds to a length of 10 UŠ (approx. 300 meters). Six "NER" resulted in the higher unit SAR (about 1800 meters).
