NRK1 is a television broadcaster of the Norwegian national broadcaster NRK . In the first quarter of 2012 the station had a market share of 35.4%

The first test broadcasts began on January 12, 1954, the first regular test broadcasts began on April 13, 1958. The program began regular broadcasting on August 20, 1960 in Oslo, as the NRK's ​​first television station. Until 1996 the station was only called "NRK". There are now sister programs NRK2 and NRK3 .

The news program Dagsrevyen is broadcast every day at 7 p.m. on NRK1 and NRK2. One of the most watched shows is the comedy show Nytt på nytt .
