Nytt på nytt ( German : Neues auf Neues ) is a Norwegian comedy show on NRK1 . The show has been broadcast since 1999 and is based on the British program Have I Got News For You .

concept

The show consists of a moderator and two permanent team bosses. A celebrity guest is invited for each team each week. Often these are well-known politicians, journalists or comedians. The moderator alternately assigns tasks to both teams, which should be solved with knowledge from the news events of the last week. The focus is not on actually solving the questions, but on humorous comments on the respective message. At the end of the program, the winning team will be determined.

The program is broadcast on Fridays and recorded in front of an audience the day before. The filmed material is cut to about a third of the original length.

From 1999 to December 2016, Jon Almaas hosted the show for 17 seasons. He left the show at his own request to work at TV Norge . Since then, Bård Tufte Johansen has been a moderator.

Odds

The show is one of the most watched on Norwegian television. The episode with the most viewers was broadcast in 2003: It had 1.5 million viewers and a market share of 79%. Shortly before that was the team boss Anne-Kat. Hærland was arrested while drunk for driving a car. The last broadcast with Jon Almaas as the presenter was seen by 1.3 million people in December 2016, making it the most viewer TV broadcast in Norway in 2016. It had a market share of 72%. The first show with the new presenter had around 1.2 million viewers in January 2017.

Jon Almaas had an average of around one million viewers, but mostly below 500,000 in the first year and an average of 1.2 million in the 2014/15 season. After Johansen's takeover, around 990,000 people tuned in in the first year.

With ten awards, the show is one of the most successful at the Norwegian television award Gullruten .
