Nabula

Nabula was an Aramaic city ​​near Mount Kašiari . It is mentioned among other things on the broken obelisk as a target of Assyrian campaigns. The town of Pauṣa , mentioned in the same sentence, was probably nearby . Also Adad-nārārī I. boasts a victory over Nabula.

Localization

Emil Forrer identifies Nabula with the modern Nibl at the source of the Hirmas River . Nibl is about 25 km northeast of Nusaybin .
