Naglis Hill

The Naglis hill (lit. Naglio kalnas ) is probably a castle hill in the north of the western Lithuanian spa town of Palanga .

The hill named after Naglis was first mentioned in 1425, when the Teutonic Knights ruled it and wanted to build a castle on it. In the 15th-16th In the 19th century, this was a sacred place. There was also a settlement of cures . In 1926 the hill was forested by the forester Marijonas Daujotas .

Like Birutėn Hill , it is part of Palanga Castle Hill .
