Naksa

As Naksa ( Arabic يوم النكسة, DMG yawm an-naksa  'day of setback') is the anniversary of the outbreak of the 6-day war . The Palestinian population commemorates the conquest of the West Bank , the Gaza Strip , East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights by Israel from June 5 to June 10, 1967.

Naksa is based on Nakba , the anniversary of the founding of Israel.

Naksa Day is not only used to commemorate, but also for demonstrations against Israel and for the return to the old borders of 1967. On June 5, 2011, like three weeks earlier on Nakba, demonstrators tried to cross the borders on the Golan Heights to storm. Several people were shot dead by Israeli soldiers.
