Nanchan temple
The Nanchan Temple ( Chinese 南禅寺 , Pinyin Nánchán sì , English Nanchan Temple ) is a Buddhist temple in the village of Lijiazhuang in Wutai County in the Chinese province of Shanxi . Its main hall from 782 is considered to be one of the oldest wooden structures in Chinese temple construction.

The main hall of the Nanchan Temple ( 南禅寺 大殿 , Nánchán sì dàdiàn , English Main Hall of Nanchan Temple ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (1-79) since 1961 .
