Nose flute

The term nasal flute (rarely also: nose pipe ) describes two different musical instruments:

  • Nose flute (traditional) , a flute that is blown with the nose, the pitch is usually regulated with the help of tone holes
  • Nose flute (Humanatone) , a toy instrument that diverts air from the nose into the mouth, the pitch is determined by changing the size of the throat
